Here is a testimony from a pastor that came to our fundraiser and information event January 2012.
For years my wife and I had “kicked around” the idea of fostering/adopting. We talked about it, heard about it and were even encouraged by some people to do this. It wasn’t until we were at the CARE event that we really got serious about this. What got us going? I can’t point to any one statement or fact that motivated us. Rather, it was the whole evening where we could not ignore these simple facts: 1. We CAN do this. 2. We NEED to do this. 3. The time for excuses is over. We have started taking the 9 week class to get certified and are looking forward to impacting lives ASAP!
